Faculty and staff of the biomedical sciences department at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) ladled out generosity and conversation to hundreds of hungry students at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) in February.

Samuel Harding, a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student at the University of Prince Edward Island, has won a prestigious Frank H. Sobey Award for Excellence in Business Studies valued at $45,000.

Dr. Joshua MacFadyen, Canada Research Chair in Geospatial Humanities, recently received a 2024 PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation Award for his book, Time Flies: A History of Prince Edward Island from the Air.

UPEI is saddened by the passing of Dr. Theresa Bernardo, the first graduate student at the University, on March 13, 2024.
