Members of the public learned more about the new UPEI Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation during an event at St. Peter’s Bay on Friday, February 14.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

Dr. Karen Overall, a board-certified specialist in veterinary behavioural medicine, will give a public workshop on Tuesday, February 25, about the issue of behavourial problems in cats and dogs. Her presentation, titled “Help! I think my dog/cat needs a shrink! How the modern science of veterinary behavioural medicine saves lives, families, and sanity,” will take place at 7 p.m. in Lecture Theatre A, Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island.

The UPEI Diversity and Social Justice Studies program, the Dean of Arts, and the Dean of Education will host a launch of Dr. Darryl Leroux’s book, Distorted Descent: White Claims to Indigenous Identity, on Tuesday, March 10, at 4 pm in Lecture Theatre A, Atlantic Veterinary College, UPEI.

UPEI’s Robertson Library, in partnership with the Province of Prince Edward Island, and the UPEI Student Union (UPEISU), has created a program to support the creation, adaptation, or peer review of open education resources (OERs) at UPEI to lower the cost of learning materials for students.
